Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for this day.
Thank you for our food.
Thanks for mommy and daddy.
Thanks for somebody not calling people Fred anymore.
Help us be happy;
Help us be good.
Please bless our food.
In the name of Jesus Christ,
And the name of Jesus Christ,
And Amen.
My Grandpa Brown has called all boys Fred and all girls Redhead for as long as I can remember. I heard that boys were previously George, and before that something else. Isaac had a really hard time with being called Fred, and was adamant that his name was not Fred, but Isaac. Very four-years-old. His great-grandpa decided to call him Isaac after about 10 days. :)

Isaac's Prayer

Oh, and he insists that prayers need to be ended with "In the name of Jesus Christ, and Jesus Christ, and Amen," or something like it. He also insists that 3 is 10, and now counts, "one, two, ten, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, three." Stubborn child. Precocious maybe?
Reminds me of Monty Python:
Cleric: And the Lord spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it.
Brother Maynard: Amen.
All: Amen.
King Arthur: Right. One... two... five.
Galahad: Three, sir.
King Arthur: Three.
I love your kids! That is SO cute!! :)
