It's nice when no one else is awake to fight over the first tray out of the oven :)
I'm sure the smell would rouse the sleepy heads soon enough.

I read a quote recently attributed to either Emerson or Thureou, I can't remember, but I liked it. It was, "There never was a child so lovely but her mother was glad to get her to sleep." I thought, so true!
