Blessings of Obedience

I knew there was a reason to go to church. Other than the spiritually uplifting part, or the fulfilling my responsibilities, or the teaching my family that it's good and right.

How about: To be given an organ. (The instrument, not a body part.)

We just need to figure out how and when to pick it up.

Wow! How did that work? That will be fun for you, when you have the chance to play it. That's great!

I had just dropped Isaac off at Sunbeams, and the first counselor in our branch presidency (who is also our home teacher) was walking toward me with our high councilman saying, "This is Alison; she's the one I was telling you about," and I was getting a little concerned.

Our high councilman is retiring and therefore downsizing his household; his daughters don't want the organ. Needless to say, I'm so happy/pleased/grateful that our home teacher thought that I might. Because I do!

Geez, everyone seems to be getting large, hard-to-move keyboard instruments. It's like people are hoping to settle down or something.
